HA NOI(Biz Hub)—Chinese Powerway Group plans to spend $50 million on a solar powered battery factory in the northern province of Bac Giang, said the provincial industrial zone management board recently.
Accordingly, Powerway would set up a limited company in Viet Nam to develop the project spanning about 70,000 sq.m in Song Khe – Noi Hoang IZ. The plant is expected to produce 150,000,000 wat per year and employ about 700 people.
If approved, investors expect to complete the project in 18 months.—VNS
