HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Aqua Expeditions, the luxury cruise operator, will launch its first tour in Asia on the Mekong River, between Viet Nam and Cambodia, this month.
Its luxury ship, the Aqua Mekong, will be taking passengers up and down the river for 48 weeks of the year on cruises lasting three, four and seven nights.
The first three-night expedition cruise will be launched on September 30 on two routes, from Phnom Penh to Siem Riep and from Phnom Penh to HCM City, during high and low tide.
The first four-night explorer cruise will be launched on October 3 on two routes, from HCM City to Phnom Penh during high and low tide, and from Siem Riep to Phnom Penh during high tide only.
The seven-night expedition cruise will also be launched on October 3, from Siem Riep to HCM City and back, only during high tide.
Built in 2014, the Aqua Mekong has three decks and is 62,48 meters long, with a beam measuring 11,58 meters. The ship can carry 40 passengers and has 20 cabins.
Francesco Galli Zugaro, Aqua Expeditions founder and chief executive officer, launched the company in 2007. It has been operating two five-star cruises, including the Aqua Amazon and Aria Amazon on the Amazon River. — VNS
