HA NAM (Biz Hub) — A delegation of businesses from Hiroshima prefecture in Japan made an exploratory tour of the northern province of Ha Nam to seek investment opportunities.

During a working session yesterday, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Mai Tien Dung introduced the visitors to sectors with rich foreign investment potential, such as the support industry, high-tech industries and agricultural production.

The locality will offer a favourable business climate to foreign investors to conduct business in the province in terms of human resources, infrastructure facilities, social order and other services, Dung said.

He also highlighted the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two localities in 2013 as a solid foundation for Japanese firms to do business in Ha Nam.

The province is now home to 125 projects funded by investors from 10 countries and territories. They are worth a total of nearly $1.1 billion.
