HA NOI (Biz Hub) — La Residence Hue Hotel & Spa joined three other Vietnamese hotels, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, Park Hyatt Saigon and Nam Hai as the best hotels in Asia.

American Travel + Leisure magazine, one of the globe's highest circulating travel magazines, selected the 500 best hotels and resorts in the world, after taking annual surveys with its readers on rating in five categories: rooms/facilities, location, service, restaurants and value.

Thus, in Viet Nam the 112-year-old Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi once again earned the highest marks among other contenders with 93.33 points, while the all-villa resort The Nam Hai made its second appearance on the prestigious list with 91.71 points, Park Hyatt Saigon followed with 91.13 points and art-deco hotel La Residence made its maiden entry after Travel + Leisure readers gave it 88.46 points.

Mombo Camp and Little Mombo Camp in Botswana led the winners with 96.60 points.— VNS
