CAN THO (Biz Hub)— The country's leading retailer Saigon Co.op yesterday opened its first Sense City mall in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta city of Can Tho.
Built at a cost of more than VND200 billion (US$9.47 million), the 22,000sq.m mall includes a Co.opmart supermarket, food court, entertainment areas with games, bowling and cinemas, and fashion, electronic and cosmetic stores.
Run by Saigon Co.op Investment Development Joint Stock Company, a member of Saigon Co.op, Sense City targets diversifying retail models to better meet the varied shopping demands of the market, said Saigon Co.op chairman Nguyen Ngoc Hoa. — VNS
