DA NANG (Biz Hub)— Businesses of foreign-invested projects earned a revenue of US$85 million during the first quarter this year, a 2.41-per cent increase year-on-year, the city's Planning and Investment Department announced yesterday.
The department said foreign-invested firms' exports reached $64 million in the past three months, contributing $5.1 million to the State budget.
A figure showed that exports from foreign-invested projects represented 53 per cent of the city's total exports of $1.5 billion last year.
The city has granted licences to eight foreign-invested projects with a total investment of $13.5 million, while three projects increased investment capital worth $1.96 million in the first five months of the year.—VNS
