DAK NONG (Biz Hub) — The central highlands province of Dak Nong has granted investment licences to 22 projects with a total capital of VND1.5 trillion or US$71 million in the first half of 2014.

The province's investment promotion centre said on July 1 that the Viet Nam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group was the biggest investor with its Nhan Co bauxite project, which has a registered capital of VND722 billion.

The Nguyen Kim Trading and Apartment Complex and the International Hospital were the two biggest domestic projects with a total investment of VND7.2 trillion or $34.3 million.

The province has received only nine Foreign Direct Investment projects with an investment of $34.29 million.
