HA NOI (Biz Hub) —The Hang Seng Index added 230.39 points to end the day at 22,582.77 in Hong Kong on May 14.
The Nikkei 225 slipped 19.68 points to finish at 14,405.76 in Tokyo. Its country-mate Topix Index gained 4.80 points to finish at 1,173.43, while The Straits Times Index climbed 36.66 points to reach 3,259.1 in Singapore.
While the Shanghai Composite Index slipped 2.82 points to finish at 2,047.91 in mainland China, two bourses in Viet Nam got better on the same day. The VN Index added 15.62 points to close at 529.53 in HCM City, and the HNX Index gained 2.48 points to end at 71.87 in the capital city.— VNS
