HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — A man allegedly committed suicide on May 5 by jumping from the ninth floor of the Indochina Park Tower at No 4, Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, District 1, HCM City.
The man has been identified as Tran Danh Lam, 49, director of the Vietnam EIC Valuation Limited Company (EIC), which is based in the Indochina Park Tower.
The EIC company is a member of the PetroVietnam Energy Technological Corporation (PV EIC), which belongs to the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN).
According to soha.vn, Lam had taken over as the company's director for more than a month. The incident happened around 2 pm.
In November 2013, another person had committed suicide at the same 22-storey building. —VNS
