HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian shares ended Tuesday with mixed results. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index lost 1.55 points to close at 62, while in HCM City the VN Index lost 16.72 points to close at 473.02.
In China, after severe losses yesterday as of China's liquilidy squeeze , the Shanghai Composite Index lost 3.52 points to close at 1,959.51 while the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong added 41.74 points to finish at 19, 855.72. Singapore shares on the Straits Times Index increased 15.62 points to 3,089.9.
Tokyo's Nikkei 225 lost 93.44 points to end at 12,969.34 and the Topix index lost 10.98 points to close at 1,078.66. — VNS
