HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Australian wool producers will target the Vietnamese market in 2015 in order to expand their exports, vietnamplus.vn reports.
The online newspaper quoted Andrew Patridge, an expert from the Techwool Trading Group as saying that the expansion of new outlets in Asia was a decisive orientation for the Australian wool industry and is aimed at reducing its dependence on China, which now consumes some 70 per cent of Australia's wool export volume.
The industry needs new partners, such as Viet Nam, to diversify export markets and improve its competition, he told the newspaper. — VNS
