HA NOI (Biz Hub)— Shares on the HCM City Stock Exchange decreased for most of this morning's session but the VN-Index rebounded 0.01 points to 500.76 points.

Among the blue chips, only seven managed to post gains, including Becamex Infrastructure Development (IJC), PetroVietnam Low Pressure Gas (PGD), PetroVietnam Drilling Services (PVD), PetroVietnam Transportation (PVT), Saigon Securities Inc (SSI), Sacombank (STB) and Vinh Son - Song Hinh Hydropower (VSH).
Trading value on the bourse reached VND408.4 billion (US$19.2 million), down 16.7 per cent compared to last Friday morning. Trading volume also declined to nearly 32.4 million shares.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index shed 0.23 per cent to 61.68 points, with only 12.7 million shares worth VND106.8 billion (US$5 million) changing hands.
The HNX30, representing the largest shares in terms of capitalisation and liquidity, also fell 0.15 per cent to 114.82 points. - VNS
