On the HCM City Stock Exchange this morning, the VN-Index closed 0.14 per cent higher to reach 504.77 points.

HA NOI (Biz Hub)— On the HCM City Stock Exchange this morning, the VN-Index closed 0.14 per cent higher to reach 504.77 points.

Trading value stayed high at VND741.3 billion (US$34.9 million), rising 6 per cent over yesterday morning's session, on a total volume of 46.2 million shares.

Blue chips tracked by the VN30 were mixed, with 10 stocks edging up and 12 others edging down. The VN30 was flat, ending the session just 0.01 point higher to 565.29 points.

On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index added 0.1 per cent to 62.20 points as nearly 19.5 million shares worth more than VND170 billion ($8 million) changed hands.

The HNX30, composed of the northern bourse's 30 largest shares in terms of capitalisation and liquidity, however bucked the trend, losing 0.18 per cent to 116.15 points.—VNS
