HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 jumped 154.33 points to close at 14,946.32 and the Topix Index gained 7.11 points to finish at 1,211.36 in Tokyo on April 2.
The Hang Seng Index added 75.40 points to end at 22,523.94 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China also gained 11.53 points to finish at 2,058.99.
In South-East Asia, the Straits Times Index declined by 5.47 points to end at 3,192.8 in Singapore. The two bourses in Viet Nam also lost. The VN Index fell by 2.18 points to close at 581.67 in HCM City, while the HNX Index declined by 0.80 points to end at 85.68 in the capital city. — VNS
