Indexes gain across Asia

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Most Asian indexes rode on the back of improved manufacturing data from China and Japan to see better growth, on June 24.

The Nikkei 225 added 6.96 points to reach 15,376.24 in Tokyo where the Topix Index gained 1.02 points to end the day at 1,268.50.

The Hang Seng Index rose 83.23 points to finish at 22,887.14 in Hong Kong. The Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China also edged up 9.57 points to end at 2,033.93.

The Straits Times Index in Singapore closed up 4.63 points to end at 3,262.0.

The VN Index gained 3.82 points to close at 569.74 in HCM City while the HNX Index added 0.64 points to end at 76.62 in the capital city.— VNS
