DA NANG (Biz Hub) — The central city and Changwon city, Korea inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for co-operation in trade and investment on Wednesday.
The central city, which established a twin city with Masan - the then city integrated into Changwon, in 1997, would boost exchanges in fields of culture, investment, hi-tech, environment and trade with Changwon in the near future.
Two-way export and import turnover trade between the two cities reached US$93.2 million last year.
Korean has been a leading investor in Da Nang with 35 projects at total capital of $705 million.
Kreves Land Vina is one of the biggest investment projects in the central city worth $200 million.— VNS
