HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Hang Seng Index jumped 390.74 points to end at 22,828.18 in Hong Kong, leading the Asian markets on February 27.
The Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China also gained 6.10 points to reach 2,047.35. The Straits Times Index gained 6.61points to end at 3,094.9 in Singapore.
However, Japan's Nikkei 225 lost 47.86 points to finish at 14,923.11 and the Topix Index also declined 8.00 points to close at 1,217.35 in Tokyo.
The VN Index lost 5.02 points to end at 584.79 in HCM City and the HNX Index declined by 0.16 points to close at 82.63 in the capital city of Viet Nam. — VNS
