HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Hang Seng Index lost 179.68 points to end at 22,388.56 in Hong Kong, with most of the other leading Asian markets also ending lower on February 24.
The Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China closed down 37.01 points to finish at 2,076.69.
Japan's Nikkei 225 slipped 27.99 points to reach 14,837.68 and the Topix Index also lost 3.24 points to close at 1,219.07 in Tokyo.
However, South-East Asia posted better results. The Straits Times Index gained 5.91 points to reach 3,105.84 in Singapore. The VN Index added 6.01 points to finish at 576.58 in HCM City and the HNX Index gained 1.49 points to end at 81.66 in the capital city of Viet Nam. — VNS
