HA NOI (Biz Hub) — After posting a loss last week, the VN-Index gained this morning by 0.47 per cent to reach 573.26 points.

With trading at 62.6 million shares, the trading value reached VND1 trillion (US$47.6 million).

As gainers overwhelmed losers by 15-8, the VN30-Index added 0.4 per cent to 641.92 points.

Also, PetroVietnam Drilling (PVD) posted gains of VND2,000 ($0.98) per share this morning, while Masan Group (MSN) and Vinamilk (VNM) were also among gainers.

The trading value on the Ha Noi Exchange hit VND372 billion ($17.7 million) on trading of nearly 40 million shares.

The HNX-Index gained 0.61 per cent to 80.66 points and the HNXFF-Index closed at 79.72 point, 0.7 per cent higher.

The HNX30-Index edged up 0.79 per cent to 160.73 points. — VNS
