HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Thirteen Vietnamese businesses specialising in agricultural and aquatic food and beverages will attend the 39th international Food and Beverage Exhibition (Foodex Japan 2014) in Chiba City, Japan.
The exhibition will be held at the Makuhari Messe exhibition centre from March 4 to March 7.
Foodex Japan 2014 is an important event for food and beverage production and trading in the Japanese market and across Asia. It gives an opportunity to exporters to expand their markets to Japan and other northeastern Asian countries and territories, such as South Korea, Russia and Taiwan.
With a display area of 126 square metres, Vietnamese businesses will showcase vegetable and fruit products, agricultural products, seafood and special drinks such as coffee and fruit juices.
At the event, Viet Nam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will organise a trade promotion forum to provide information related to the investment conditions in Viet Nam and opportunities and challenges for enterprises that want to invest in the country.
Foodex Japan 2013 attracted 2,390 businesses from 72 countries and territories in the world. About 80,000 visitors attended the event. — VNS
