Int’l exhibition on food processing, packaging, preserving to be held in HCM City.

The International Exhibition on Processing, Packaging and Preserving Food and Agricultural Products (PFA 2019) is expected to create a favorable environment for expanding cooperation as well as promoting and introducing Viet Nam's food and agricultural products, Do Thang Hai, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said in a press release on Friday.

The exhibition, which will take place on July 24-27 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in HCM City, is gaining special attention from Government management agencies and the business community.

Hai highly appreciated the efforts taken to organise the exhibition. “This is an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to participate in regional and global supply chains, expand cooperation, attract investment, and apply advanced science and technology as well as modern management experiences from foreign partners,” he said.

“This is also a chance for international enterprises to seek opportunities and build partnerships and invest in Viet Nam's agricultural field, which has high potential.”

The exhibition has received guidance from several ministries, with the co-ordination of leading management agencies from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Apart from exhibitions, the event will also provide B2B (business to business) forums. — VNS
