HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Viet Nam will hold a forum on ASEAN's food and agriculture business environment post-2015 in Ha Noi on June 23-25.

The ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Foreign Affairs and Public Security, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry have urged authorised bodies and relevant local authorities to make the event a success.

The forum expects to bring together 350-400 delegates, including ministers in charge of the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors in the ASEAN region, as well as the representatives of ministries, departments, international organisations, and domestic and foreign enterprises.

Delegates are expected to exchange information, propose agricultural production enforcement policies to improve income and diminish environmental impacts on the ASEAN bloc.

Discussions will also focus on such major farm produce as seafood, coffee, and rice. — VNS
