The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines opened a new route linking HCM City and Bali, Indonesia via Tan Son Nhat and Ngurah Rai airports on Sunday.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Indonesia Pham Vinh Quang said the new route will help passengers fly directly from Bali to HCM City, exploring famous destinations in the southern region of Viet Nam, as well as departing from HCM City to Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue in the central region and Ha Noi.
Vietnam Airlines will run flights between the two cities on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. This is Vietnam Airlines’ second route connecting Viet Nam with Indonesia. The first one is between HCM City and Jakarta, which was opened in December 2012.
The carrier uses the Airbus A321 aircraft on this route, providing passengers with four-star international service. — VNS
