Cambodia Angkor Air has officially launched a new direct route from Phnom Penh to Da Nang with five flights per week on Airbus A320, starting from Saturday.
General manager of the airlines branch office in Viet Nam, Le Hoang Hai confirmed to Viet Nam News on Sunday that the flight will take off from Phnom Penh at 1pm and from Da Nang International Airport at 3.35pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
He said the inaugural flight will leave from Phnom Penh at 1.30pm before landing at Da Nang airport at 2.50pm on October 27.
Its the second direct flight from Cambodia to Da Nang after the first between Siem Reap and Da Nang with seven flights per week.
The launch of the route would help promote tourism between central Viet Nam and Cambodia.
Cambodia Angkor Air is also operating direct flights between HCM City and Phnom Penh and from Siem Reap to HCM City with 21 flights per week each route, while from Sihanouk Ville to HCM City with seven flights per week. — VNS
