Vietnam Airlines is increasing its flights to meet the high demand of passengers during the 2024 Lunar New Year (Tết).

The additional increase will provide over 100,000 seats, which is equivalent to nearly 550 flights. This brings the total number of seats to 2.1 million with 10,700 flights during the Tết peak season, which will take place from January 25 to February 24, 2024 (from December 15, 2024, to January 15, 2025, according to the lunar calendar).

The focus of the increased flights will be on routes between HCM City/Hà Nội and various destinations such as Đà Nẵng, Hải Phòng, Vinh, Thanh Hóa, Huế, Đà Lạt, Cần Thơ, Nha Trang, Phú Yên, and Phú Quốc.

This expansion aims to accommodate passengers travelling to visit their relatives and for leisure purposes during the Lunar New Year festivities. — VNS
