HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Vietjet officially announced two new routes Ha Noi-Taipei and HCM City-Kaohsiung in Taiwan on October 19.
""With a mission to make air travel accessible to everyone and a more popular means of transportation for people and tourists, Vietjet provides convenient and creative services for all passengers on Vietjet's key regional routes, including those to many destinations in Taiwan," Dinh Viet Phuong, Vietjet's vice president, said at the ceremony.
"The two new routes will help better connect the cultural, economic and financial hubs, looking to accelerate trade and tourism between Viet Nam and Taiwan, making Vietjet the favourite airline for all passengers in the world," he said.
The Ha Noi-Taipei route will have a flight operating on a daily basis from October 30, while the HCM City-Kaohsiung route will be launched on December 12, with five return flights per week.
These new routes have increased Vietjet's flight network to more than 20 international routes, connecting 15 destinations all over the region.
On the occasion, Vietjet said it will give away 150,000 promotional air tickets priced at zero dollars on three days from October 25-27 at www.vietjetair.com.
The promotion applies on all routes from Viet Nam to Kaohsiung, Taipei, Tainan and Busan, as well as Seoul and Hong Kong. The travel period is from October 30, 2016 to March 25, 2017.
In particular, the offer is applicable from December 9 on the HCM City-Hong Kong route, from December 12 on the HCM City-Kaohsiung route; from December 11 on the Hai Phong-Seoul route and from December 16 on the Ha Noi-Busan route. — VNS
