The promotional airfares, available at www.vietjetair.com from noon to 2pm, will be applied for all domestic and international routes with flight period from August 14 to December 31.

The Ha Noi – Osaka route will operate a return flight everyday of over four hours per leg from November 8. The flight will depart from Ha Noi at 1.40am and arrive in Osaka at 7.50am (local time). The return flight will leave at 9.20am (local time) in Osaka and lands in Ha Noi at 1.05pm.

In another move, Vietjet said it will issue more than 90.2 million shares as dividends paid to its shareholders for the last stage of 2017 at the rate of 20 per cent.

Accordingly, each shareholder who owns 10 shares of Vietjet Air, coded VJC on the HCM City Stock Exchange (HOSE), will receive two additional shares. After paying the dividends, Vietjet’s charter capital will increase from VND4.51 trillion (US$198 million) to over VND5.41 trillion ($240 million). The deadline for dividend payment registration is on Monday.

Over the past year, Vietjet has paid high dividends to its shareholders, with over 100 per cent in some years. Recently, the PetroVietnam Trading Company (Petechim) has purchased 100,000 shares of Vietjet after buying 150,000 shares previously. — VNS
