As of July 15th, Phu My Fertiliser Plant has produced 10 million tonnes of urea, meeting 40 per cent of the local market demand, PetroVietnam Fertiliser and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) announced.

This is a meaningful milestone in the development history of PVFCCo, said company vice president Duong Tri Hoi.

To mark the occasion, the corporation is running a promotion programme with prizes worth up to VND10 billion (nearly US$400,000) from now to September 12.

Earlier this month, PVFCCo - with Phu My fertiliser as its key product - was listed in Forbes Viet Nam’s top 40 most valuable brands for the second consecutive year.

The company was ranked by Forbes Viet Nam in 33rd position with its brand value ascending from $27 million in 2016 to $27.8 million in 2017. — VNS
