Hoa Phat Group exported nearly 90,000 tonnes of construction steel in the first half of 2017, the group announced.
The products were mainly shipped to the United States, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos and the Philippines.
June was seen as the month with the highest export volume of 22,000 tonnes.
Hoa Phat in H1 produced more than one million tonnes of steel, increasing 33 per cent year-on-year and meeting more than half of its annual production plan. The group’s local market share rose to more than 24 per cent by the end of June against 22.2 per cent in December last year. — VNS
