Tien Phong Bank officially launched EasyLink accounts and electronic banking – eBank 8.0 version and eToken with new improvements on speed, security and friendliness on December 6.

The eBank 8.0 version has a new modern and friendly interface while focussing on individualisation. The version has outstanding functions at double the speed for transactions in comparison with the previous version. Customers will take only eight seconds to complete interbank transactions.

TPBank said it has focussed on improving security and safety while providing conveniences to customers such as fingerprinting, automatic risk warnings and transaction certification by eToken. It is the only bank in Viet Nam using the fingerprint technology for payments of small transactions in a few seconds.

In addition, the bank also introduced eToken installed on mobile phones to clarify One Time Password (OTP) codes without an Internet connection. The OTP codes will be changed every minute to implement payments.

Nguyen Hung, TPBank’s general director, said the launching has not only paid attention to new technologies but also on enhancing security in online payment.

“The products have shown our efforts in developing digital banking in Viet Nam while catching up with digitalisation trend in the world,” Hung said, adding that the bank has invested several hundreds of billions of dong for the technologies to ensure safety for transactions of customers. — VNS
