Chinese camera modules manufacturer QTech Group plans to invest in an electronic optics factory in Nghệ An Province with a total capital of about US$430 million.
At a recent working session with leaders of the central Nghệ An Province, Qtech Technology Co, a member of QTech Group, presented its intention to invest in an electronic optics factory in the province with a land area of about 10-15 hectares and an estimated investment capital of about US$430 million.
The company also suggested that Nghệ An Province support investors with tax incentives, administrative procedures, and labour training to soon deploy the project.
QTech is one of the top three camera module manufacturers in the world, accounting for a large market share in the Chinese market.
At the meeting, a representative of Nghệ An Province People's Committee said that in the last two years, Nghệ An has been one of the 10 provinces attracting the largest FDI in Việt Nam and currently has many investors from Singapore, China, Japan and Taiwan.
Nghệ An currently has three large infrastructure investors, including WHA Group, VSIP and Hoàng Thịnh Đạt. The province’s total land infrastructure area for current industrial parks is up to nearly 1,000 hectares. — VNS
