Thai Vietjet Air Joint Stock Co was recognised at Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards 2019 during a ceremony held last week in Singapore.
The company was one of 250 from 42 countries that have won the awards, selected by an international jury comprising stalwarts from the industry, economists and business leaders.
Hosted by the Employer Branding Institute and World HRD Congress & Stars of the Industry Group, the award honoured Thai Vietjet – a joint venture between Vietnamese budget carrier Vietjet and Thai airline Kan Air – for its consistent efforts to create a world-class organisation which focuses on empowering employees and enabling them to meet their professional and personal goals.
It was also a recognition of Thai Vietjet's SkyCareer Festival recruitment events over the past two years in Thailand. The SkyCareer Festival attracted thousands of young people in Thailand and other countries in the region to participate in recruitment, help many flying dreams come true.
Earlier this year, Thai Vietjet received an award at the Global Best Employer Brand Awards 2019 in India. Vietjet won one of the Best Companies to work for in 2019 awards from HR Asia Magazine – a highly respected newspaper on human resources in Asia – in July.
Over recent years, Vietjet and Thai Vietjet have attracted high quality workers from more than 40 countries, built a good working environment and promoted the development of human resources.
The prestigious regional and global awards are a testament to the two businesses' achievements in human resource management, Vietjet said in a statement. — VNS
