Saigon Co.op opened four Co.opmart SCA supermarkets in Ha Noi, HCM City and Tay Ninh on October 31, increasing the total number of stores to 120.
Co.opmart SCA is the new name of France’s Auchan supermarkets, which Saigon Co.op acquired recently.
The four are in the Mipec Riverside shopping mall in Ha Noi’s Long Bien District and at 856 Au Co Street in HCM City’s Tan Binh District, 181 Cao Thang Street in the city’s District 10 and 217-219 April 30 Street in Tay Ninh City.
They all have a modern design, spread over nearly 15,800sq.m and sell more than 30,000 items, including fresh and processed foods, cosmetics, clothes, household goods, and accessories, 90 per cent of which are high-quality Vietnamese products.
They offer people in these crowded residential areas a place to buy goods with clear origin, good quality and reasonable prices, especially during the upcoming year-end shopping season.
To mark their opening, the stores are offering promotions until November 13, including discounts of up to 50 per cent on thousands of essential items and high reward points.
At Long Bien, Au Co and Cao Thang, customers with bills worth VND200,000 (US$8.6) or more have the chance to win attractive prizes such as a Toyota Vios car and a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ in a lucky draw. — VNS
