Nestle Vietnam has launched a programme named “An Tet Xanh - Don Loc Lanh" (Celebrating Green New Year, Welcoming Good Fortune" to inspire the community to make contributions to sustainable development activities such as forestation against climate change and supporting sustainable coffee farming.

Accordingly, within the framework of the programme from December 15, 2022 to January 20, 2023, when buying Nescafe, Maggi, Milo, KitKat, or Nestea from Nestle, consumers can access https://www.giadinhnestle.com.vn/Nestle-an-tet-xanh to vote on one of two sustainable development activities (forestation against climate change and supporting sustainable coffee farming) and Nestle Vietnam will donate VND10,000 for each vote to the corresponding activity.

In addition, consumers will have the opportunity to participate in forest plantation trips to Cuc Phuong National Park and Dong Nai Culture-Nature Reserve, or experience sustainable coffee farming in Dak Lak, and receive valuable gifts such as Apple Ipad Gen9, Sony headphones and thousands of vouchers for shopping at Nestle Vietnam official store on Shopee.

Pursuing sustainable values, the programme also encourages consumers to make positive changes that benefit the environment such as conscious shopping and consumption, and reducing food and plastic wastes.

“I believe that each of our small contributions when combined together can make a big impact on the environment," said Binu Jacob, managing director of Nestle Vietnam. "The programme further asserts Nestle Vietnam's commitment on our journey of sustainable development, environmental protection and reinventing the future."

The programme is a continuation of the company’s “Trao Dieu Lanh, Don Loc Xanh” (Giving Blessings, Welcoming Green Buds) programme last Tet. Under the programme, the company accompanied consumers to donate 8,000 plants for protection forests, 500,000 seedlings for sustainable coffee farming, and 2,500 gifts to environmental sanitation workers. — VNS
