HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — More than 150 staff, agents and managers of Manulife on Wednesday donated blood for a campaign in HCM City.

Give Blood – Save Life was organised with the co-operation of the Red Cross Society of District 7 to mark the 16th anniversary of Manulife. Another round of blood donation will be done in Ha Noi in July.

"Giving blood has been an annual campaign for our employees and agents in Viet Nam for many years," Paul Nguyen, the company's CEO, said.

"Now into our 16th year, we look forward to continuing to give back to the community through the campaign."

The insurer has supported the community through many projects like educational support and scholarships for disadvantaged students, the Terry Fox Run and Ha Noi Run for children to raise funds for cancer research. — VNS
