La Vie Co., Ltd. has donated 100,000 litres of bottled mineral water to hospitals and medical facilities in Da Nang to support medical staff and patients in the fight against COVID-19.

Isolated hospitals (Da Nang C Hospital, Da Nang Hospital, and Da Nang Orthopedic and Physical Rehabilitation Hospital) and health facilities taking part in the fight against the pandemic have great demand for essential products, protective equipment, and medical masks.

Therefore, a few hours after an appeal from the Da Nang Department of Health for community support, the company donated more than 100,000 litres of mineral water worth more than VND600 million (US$25,832).

The company began transporting the water to isolated hospitals in Hai Chau District on Thursday.

The water donation is a continuation of the company's programme started in March to support doctors and nurses, public security officials, the military and volunteers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 fight.

The company has spent a total of about VND23 billion ($989,875) in many programmes to support the COVID-19 fight in Viet Nam since March. — VNS
