The prestigious travel publication Travel + Leisure has included The Reverie Saigon in its list of the 100 best hotels in the world. The hotel was also ranked sixth in the best city hotels in Asia in the magazine’s World’s Best Awards 2020.

The result was from a survey of thousands of Travel + Leisure readers who shared their thoughts on favourite hotels, islands, tour operators and more.

The magazine's review notes that “The Reverie elevated the high-end hotel game in Ho Chi Minh City when it opened in the central business district in 2015.” It goes on to describe the "unapologetically decadent design" of the rooms and common spaces, mentioning the use of lavish materials such as velvet, marble and crystal, and luxurious touches like Chopard, Hermès and Acqua di Parma bathroom products.

Eva Hue Van Truong, managing director of The Reverie Saigon, expressed her thanks to all of the hotel’s loyal fans, both in Vietnam and around the world, for their support.

“The Reverie Saigon’s unique vision, and its commitment to providing the ultimate in luxury and world-class service, are what continue to make it one of the leading hotels in the world,” she said.

“Particularly in this difficult time, it is heartening to know our guests are still dreaming and still imagining great travel experiences. We look forward to welcoming them back soon.”

Located on Nguyen Hue and Dong Khoi streets, the hotel is perched on the 27th to 39th floors of the Times Square Building with 286 guest rooms and suites featuring expansive views of the Saigon River and the city skyline.

A picturesque outdoor pool, state-of-the-art fitness centre, 13,000-square-foot spa with twelve treatment rooms and a beauty salon offer a resort-like atmosphere, while five distinctive restaurants feature Saigon’s best culinary talents.

The Times Square Building and The Reverie Saigon hotel within it encompass 15 multi-purpose meetings and event spaces, including the La Scala ballroom, the grandest ballroom in Viet Nam.
