The US-based technology services company KMS Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with VinaCapital Foundation to fund US$350,000 for healthcare and education solutions for disadvantaged Vietnamese children and women.

Through this collaboration, KMS Technology aims to support the VinaCapital Foundation in delivering essential healthcare and educational programmes to those in greatest need.

“KMS Technology is committed to making a positive impact on society, and VinaCapital Foundation’s mission has significantly deepened our appreciation for this cause. Through our partnership, we aspire to work hand in hand with VinaCapital Foundation to enhance vital healthcare and educational solutions for underserved children and women in Việt Nam, ultimately contributing to a sustainable future for the country,” said Trần Trọng Đại, managing director of KMS Technology.

With eight healthcare and education programmes, VinaCapital Foundation’s mission is to transform the lives of underserved and marginalised children and women in Việt Nam.

Rad Kivette, CEO of VinaCapital Foundation, said: “We believe that this partnership will offer life-changing opportunities for children in need and their mothers, ensuring they have access to healthcare and education, and the path to a brighter future."

KMS Technology has also donated $100,000 to Passerelle Numérique Vietnam (PNV), a French NGO dedicated to providing IT training for disadvantaged students.

KMS’s financial support and technological expertise will equip students with the essential skills and tools they need to thrive in today’s competitive landscape, Đại said.

Over the past six years, KMS and PNV have positively impacted nearly 400 disadvantaged students through various initiatives, including training programmes, career guidance, scholarships, facility upgrades, internship opportunities, and full-time employment. — VNS
