Jetstar Pacific on Monday began selling air tickets on its two newest international routes connecting Da Nang and Ha Noi with Osaka (Japan) at prices starting at VND1.28 million (US$56.3) per ticket.
The new routes are slated for official operation in September, with four return flights per week, vietnamplus.vn reported.
With the new routes, Jetstar Pacific is striving to create more travel opportunities for tourists and businesspeople between the two countries, airline general director Nguyen Quoc Phuong said.
Last year, Viet Nam welcomed more than 740,000 Japanese visitors, and the number is expected to increase significantly in the future.
Jetstar Pacific is the first low-cost carrier to launch direct routes from Viet Nam to Japan. — VNS
