The Food, Agri and Aqua Business Sector Committee (FAABS) of EuroCham recently named Vu Manh Hung as the head of FAABS' sector committee engagement working group.
Hung, who is now vice president of the Vietnam Agricultural Enterprises Association (VIDA) and chairman of the board of directors cum general director of Hung Nhon Group, was elected with 100 per cent of the votes from FAABS members.
Hung's appointment to the committee's leadership is in recognition of his unwavering contributions as an expert in utilising advanced agricultural technology. In his role as Vice President of VIDA, Hung has worked closely with EuroCham to organise investment forums in agriculture-strong regions like Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc, encouraging European investments in Vietnam.
As a businessman and chairman of the board cum general director of Hung Nhon Group, Hung has guided the company to become a diversified conglomerate with a focus on large-scale livestock farming, incorporating advanced technology throughout the process from breeding to slaughter, adhering to ISO standards, Global GAP, and other international industry benchmarks.

Following a high-tech agricultural development strategy for 2024 and a vision for 2030, DHN plans to invest in establishing large-scale modern livestock farms that meet advanced global standards, providing top-quality breeding stock based on international regulations.
"I am extremely proud to have earned the trust of EuroCham members. It is an honor but also a significant responsibility for me. I am committed to ensuring the sustainable growth of Hung Nhon while fulfilling meaningful tasks for the communities at VIDA and FAABS," said Hung.
