FPT Semiconductor signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Silvaco Company on Friday to develop human resources and business development in the field of semiconductors.
The event was witnessed by Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính and leaders of the Vietnamese Government during their working trip to the US.
Under the cooperation, the two companies commit to developing human resources in the semiconductor industry for the Vietnamese companies in the US. The parties also cooperated to establish a Vietnamese Semiconductor Training Centre to promote the development of human resources in line with the Vietnamese Government's programme.
Silvaco and FPT will also cooperate in business development in the fields of StandardCell, IO and Memory design. In the long term, Silvaco will become a strategic investor of FPT Semiconductor JSC. FPT Semiconductor is also the representative and exclusive distributor of Silvaco's software in the semiconductor industry in Việt Nam. — VNS
