Bamboo Airways recently welcomed its second Airbus A320 aircraft in preparation for the heightened travel demand during Tết (Lunar New Year). This strategic addition aligns with the airline's commitment to improving operational efficiency and fostering growth amid its ongoing restructuring efforts.

As Bamboo Airways approaches its fifth anniversary, it aims to expand its domestic flight offerings, introduce competitive pricing and maintain high-quality service standards.

In 2024, the airline plans to concentrate on bolstering its domestic air travel services while also operating select international flights through charter services. Bamboo Airways envisions building a fleet of single-aisle Airbus A320/321 aircraft in the long term. The airline remains dedicated to ensuring punctuality and sustaining service excellence.

Anticipating a 20 per cent surge in demand during the 2024 Tết holiday season, Bamboo Airways plans to increase flight frequencies on major routes, including Hà Nội to HCM City, Hà Nội to Đà Nẵng, and shorter routes such as HCM City to Vinh, Thanh Hóa, Hải Phòng, Huế, among others. The airline also aims to enhance night flights on key routes.

To celebrate its anniversary, Bamboo Airways is offering promotions, including Tết flights starting from VNĐ637,000 (US$26.5), a 10 per cent discount on basic ticket prices, and discount codes applicable to all domestic flights. Additionally, the airline provides pre-order meal services with an enticing menu featuring diverse dishes and drinks.
