Asian travel services booking platform Klook said tourist arrival numbers quadrupled in Việt Nam in 2023 with Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan being the top five origin markets.
Taiwan led with nearly a 17-fold increase in arrivals, followed by Hong Kong (13-fold) and the Philippines (five-fold).
Tours, attractions, activities and experiences, and theme parks and water parks were the most booked by travellers on Klook.
Đà Nẵng, Hạ Long, HCM City, Hà Nội, Nha Trang, Sapa, Phú Quốc, and Hội An were the top destinations.
