Amazon is setting up a second team to strengthen support for sellers in Viet Nam.

The Ha Noi-based team will guide businesses on how to better develop a global business by leveraging Amazon stores world-wide and seize cross-border e-commerce opportunities.

Working with the global selling team established in HCM City in 2019, the new team will help sellers across the country accelerate their digital transformation, achieving greater efficiency.

Gijae Seong, head of the global selling team in Viet Nam, said: “Since creating the team in HCM City, we have been planning to expand into other regions of the country. We are proud to announce the establishment of a … team in Ha Noi, a strategic city with great potential. With this team, we aim to help more sellers compete by diversifying their selling strategies and expanding across borders.”

It will organise a series of training sessions covering account registration, store operation, logistics, marketing, and branding. It will also hold open consultations in Ha Noi to provide sellers in the northern region with support on questions relating to their digital business on Amazon stores.

With the pandemic accelerating development of cross-border e-commerce, the new team will aim to help online sellers capitalise on new opportunities for business growth globally. — VNS
