Prestigious brands sold at big discounts at Co.opmart

Discounts of up to 50 per centare offered on Co.op Select, Happy andFinest brands for the next 14 days at all Co.opmart supermarkets across the country.

The discounts cover a total of 2,500 essential foodstuffs, chemical products, household utensils, fashion clothing items, and kitchen appliances.

One of the highlights of the programme is the ‘Super promotion’ on three-day weekends, with discounts of VND40,000-70,000 (US$1.7-3.03) on products likemedical face masks, detergent powders and liquids, soybean cooking oil, non-stick pans, Japanese rice varieties, superfast kettles, and folding mattresses.

Under a programme called ‘Buy more, get more discounts,’ a second item purchasedof certain products will be free.

There is also a programme that multiplies reward points by six times and offers gift vouchers and many other incentives.

Co.opmart supermarkets are also offeringdiscounts of 25 per cent on fruits and seafood products such as mackerel, basa fish, snakehead fish, Indian mackerel, and sea bass.

Besides, electric irons, fans, electric stoves, electric hot pots, and gas stoves are discounted by 30-40 per cent.

Members will receive special discounts when they buy Vfresh fruit juices, Vinamilkand Dutch Lady fresh milk, Omo and Arielliquid detergents, P/S toothpaste, and premium towels, blankets and bed sheets.

The discounts on these prestigious brands kick off a series of promotion programmes to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Co.opmart.

The first Co.opmart, on Cong Quynh Street in HCM City’s District 1, opened in 1996, beginning an era of modern retail in Viet Nam. The supermarket chain is fully operated by the Saigon Union of Trading Co-operatives’ members and always gives priority to displaying and selling Vietnamese products.

Over these 25 years the number of Co.opmart supermarkets has grown to 128in more than 45 provinces and cities nation-wide. — VNS
