HA NOI (Biz Hub) ― Eximbank vice chairman and general director, Truong Van Phuoc, has been appointed vice chairman of the National Financial Supervisory Council by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
Phuoc, 54, is a doctor of economics and held foreign exchange management positions at the SBV and Vietcombank.
He played an instrumental role in establishing foreign currency trading in Viet Nam, helping to build the country's legal framework for foreign exchange activities.
Phuoc also played a key role in Eximbank's turn around at the beginning of the last decade. ― VNS
