VPBank said it was deeply impressed with the resilience and determination of the two localities in limiting the spread of the virus as well as treating both patients and ensuring safety for local people.
The bank donated VND5 billion for the newly completed field hospital in Da Nang’s Hoa Vang District and another VND5 billion for Quang Nam to buy important medical equipment.
In March 2020, VPBank and its subsidiary FeCredit transferred VND15 billion to the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee and relevant functional units such as the Ministry of Health and the National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control to contribute to the response and reduction of damage from the pandemic to the community. VPBank's total contribution to society to combat the pandemic has reached VND25 billion.
VPBank believed that with the Government’s determination and help from the business community and people nationwide, Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province, as well as the country, would definitely win against the pandemic. The country would soon restore economic and social stability and continue to become a global bright spot in the prevention and control of COVID- 19. — VNS
