VinFast, an affiliate of Vingroup, on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding with five colleges specialising in mechatronics and automotive engineering.
VinFast, an affiliate of Vingroup, on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding with five colleges specialising in vocational training of mechanics and automotive engineering in the northern city of Hai Phong.
After 30 months of studying, students will be granted a practical engineering degree and a technician's certificate by VinFast.
VinFast will pay vocational training costs and ensure employment after graduation.
The signing ceremony was held with leaders of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training. The five vocational training colleges include Ha Noi Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College, Industrial Vocational College Hanoi, Hue Industrial College, Ha Tinh College of Technology and Ly Tu Trong College.
The training course will be jointly developed by the schools and VinFast, ensuring that it is in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Vocational Training while meeting VinFast's standards.
The training programme will start from the 2020-21 school year, with a nationwide enrollment target of 150 students. Students will start the course from September this year. — VNS
