Car manufacturer VinFast and HBC Bình Minh Investment Joint Stock Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement to develop a distribution network.

According to the agreement, signed on July 29, HBC Bình Minh will open 11 new VinFast car showrooms across 11 provinces and cities in both the North and South of Việt Nam within 2024. By the first quarter of 2025, the company plans to expand internationally, with two additional VinFast dealerships slated for Indonesia and India.

The first VinFast showroom under this new partnership will open in Yên Bái on July 31. This location, previously a dealership for a Korean car brand, will be converted to feature VinFast’s electric vehicles. Several of the 11 new showrooms planned for this year will similarly convert existing spaces from petrol and diesel brands to showcase VinFast’s electric cars.

Currently, HBC Bình Minh operates a network of over ten showrooms selling a variety of commercial and passenger vehicles from different brands across Việt Nam.

The company plans to convert a portion of these into VinFast electric vehicle showrooms by the end of the year. Notably, HBC Bình Minh is the first Vietnamese partner to assist VinFast in expanding into international markets. — VNS
