The Vietnam Industry-Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) said it aims to produce 2.8 million tonnes of coal in July.
In addition, the group plans to import over 1.7 tonnes of coal in order to bring four million tonnes out to the market, including 36,000 tonnes for exports this month.

In the first half of this year, Vinacomin sold 22.77 million tonnes of coal, the equivalent of 53.5 per cent of the target set for the year.
During those first six months, the group gained VNĐ88.98 trillion in revenue, up 7 per cent year-on-year, or 50.8 per cent of the annual goal. Profits hit over VNĐ1.49 trillion in the period. — VNS
